Bottle at home. Pours brilliantly clear gold with a medium, frothy white head, medium retention with good lacing. Aroma is sweet corny Pils malt and medium floral hops. Flavor is sweet corny Pils malt, creamed corn, light floral hops and bitterness with a sweet finish. Light body and medium carbonation. ronaldtheriot (1934) - Laplace, Louisiana, USA - NOV 20, 2014
Indian Wells Silver Sun has an extremely thick, spongy, whipped cream-type off-white head, heavy lacing, a mostly clear, golden appearance, fierce bubble streams, and load of big, tan chunks roiling about and powdery, tan sediment suspended throughout. Aroma is sharp, alcohilic, tangy, pungent, husky, and candi sugar sweet. Taste is the same, with citrus, lightly-roasted barley malt, stinging yeast, white pepper, a touch of hop bitterness, coriander, white pepper, and a ghost of celery. Mouthfeel is light to medium and prickly, and Indian Wells Silver Sun finishes dry, champagne like, and completely odd. Did they accidentally pour Celis Grand Cru in this bottle? Very weird stuff. "uhhhh....nifty lookin bottle? as far as what’s inside, maybe the worst IW beer I’ve had, and THAT is saying alot! just a generic kit macro smell at first, that just festers. looks and feels as you’d expect, with the added instant gassiness. taste is pretty god-awful, and it lingers as well, worse in the aftertaste. Bottle, orange color with no foam , some fruit aroma, flavor is plastic and fruit, not bad for a light beer dfinney23 (3269) - Houston, Texas, USA - MAY 24, 2012
Why does the label look like it was designed by a 14 year old kid circa 1982? Wait, did that kid go into brewing? This would go pretty well with a Van Halen concert.

12oz bottle pours clear copper / gold with weak 30 second near white head. The aroma comes across with some floral hops and faint levels of spicy hops and a near yeasty sourness rimmed with tartness. The taste has a bit of floral hops bouncing around with sweet sugary malts and a thin ring of spicy hops. In the background the floral hops pull forward an odd sort of yeastiness comprised of tartness. Overall decent brew for what it is.
