Not usually a porter guy but this blew me away. Had a sip of a friends and bought two more - on tap at the brewery. Very full body and nice smoothness while still having great balance of coffee, chocolate and bitter notes. Very complex for a porter and may be ebst one I’ve had.

On tap at Bar Hop. Quite balanced, alcohol not overpowering at 6.9%, chocolate quite noticeable.

Solid porter! Good, rich malts, nice cocoa notes, with some nuttiness, and subtle hops. Great mouthfeel and carb. Finish is medium bitter with loads of nutty and chocolatey goodness.

On tap at Indie. Pours black with an off-white head. Rich coffee aroma with notes of cocoa and dark fruit, toffee. Roasty coffee flavor turning into toffee, chocolate, and dark fruit. Really pretty impressed with this one; took a couple bottles home.

Appearance: Pitch black, cola like, small off white head. Aroma: Toasty, leather, cream, coffee. Flavour: coffee, chocolate, lots of cream, quite malty with a great dry finish. Lovely.

On tap at the brewery. Pours near black with a lacy, beige head. Aroma of roasted malts, some coffee and chocolate notes, some dough, light bitterness, and hints of sweetness. Flavor the same with a nice dark malt note and a dry, roasty finish. Average texture. A really good porter.
