(tap) clear dark brown colour with a small tan head; aroma of roast, dust; balanced flavour with a long light bitter - sour finish GregClow (3402) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 6, 2016
Draught at Craft. Had this at brunch with my wife and a friend, so I didn’t take formal notes, but it was pretty much bang on style for a dry stout - ruby-black body, tan head, roasty aroma and flavour with notes of cocoa and dark roast malt. The only thing that throws it a little bit is a backing fruity note that seemed a bit out of place. Otherwise, very nice stuff. TheJester (2543) - Cavan Monaghan, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 28, 2015
500 mL bottle. Looks like a stout. Very small tan head. Nice, big aroma of roasted coffee grounds and a little carmel for sweetness. The flavour is solid as well, although its too swweet to be called a dry stout. Seems like just a regular stout. And a good one. Bendrixian (1514) - Canadiana, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 5, 2015
Black pour with a tan head. Lightly toasted aroma with hint of cereal and a bit of malt. Medium bodied brew, fast profile and has some toast and a hint of chocolate but dry beer. Forgetful. adamnowek (3603) - Brussels, BELGIUM - AUG 2, 2015
Really bitter and grainy chocolate and coffee aroma. Almost tastes like coffee grounds.

2014-02-15. Black body with a small tan head that fades. Aroma is dry and lightly roasty over sweeter dark malt. Flavour is interesting, lightly roasty, bit chocolatey and mild undertone of fruit. 6+ Average bodied palate, moderate carbonation. Quaffable, decent take on the style. Deep black pour with a fast fading head. The aroma has a lovely soft earthy cocoa character along with a bit of dry cocoa and some nice earthy bitterness. Medium bodied and a little bit of herbal/spicy character. A very well-made stout.

Serviceable irish stout, not my favourite style, but still worth a try. At the brewpub. Black with a little head. blankboy (7921) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 27, 2013
[Draught at the brewpub] Pours a very dark brown with ruby hues and an average size semi-lasting frothy beige head. Lots of lacing on the glass. Aroma is toasty and fruity first followed by hints of chocolate and vanilla. Nice malty flavour along with coffee, chocolate, light hops and a dry average bitter finish. Average to medium bodied. Solid, on style (to me) and enjoyable.
