Bottle: Poured a dirty reddish color ale with a light foamy head with minimal retention. Aroma of vinous notes with oak and cherry notes is quite splendid. Taste is a nice mix of tart cherry notes oak and vinous notes with light residuals sugar notes. Body is full for style with good carbonation. Very well balanced Flanders red with good mix of complexities while retaining excellent drinkability. Helsdon (421) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 25, 2017
UPDATED: AUG 25, 2017 Cloudy brownish red, with a ring. Typical sour vinager nose with a mild sweetness that's thinking of cherries. Taste is a well balanced Flanders red vinager sour bite, with a full cherry bringing up the rear with a mild sweetness. Solid. Reminisce of their Spadina Monkey. One of my fav styles, hard to find made locally and at a great place, in the best bottle I have ever seen. The beer is on the dryer side but so rich, tart and oozing red wine and barrel character. The funky is on the softer side, and sweet notes linger in the finish, but the main word to describe this masterpiece is complex. yespr (47581) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - FEB 3, 2017

Bottle from bottle shop. Lovely tart aroma with some malty cherry, oak, toastiness. Warm dark reddish brown with tan head. Quite tart, with flavours of sour cherries, some slight oakiness, some toasty malt. Quite tasty.

750 mL bottle. Cola brown, no head. It’s one of those sweet and sour beers. Sweet and sour berries. Brown sugar and malt vinegar. Lingering bite. No booze whatsoever. Excellent! mabel (9787) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 8, 2016
