3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at Indie Alehouse. Pours a slightly hazy, golden copper with a hone finger, off-white head that thins to a thick film and coats the glass with lacing. Aroma is slightly floral with notes of yeast, sugar, pine, and a touch of funk. Taste is slightly sweet but balanced with a sugary, slightly peppery, aftertaste with a hint of funk on the finish.Medium body and carbonation. Syrupy texture in the mouth but with a solid carbonation to keep the flavour moving. Overall pretty good. Sweeter but not overdone. Good job.
Happy this is back at the pub, such an interesting beer with the perfect balance between IPA and some kind of funky Belgian beer. Bitterness is big, but fruity and dry finish make it very drinkable. Was put onto this beer by some regulars at the bar and so glad I tried it. Harder to find outside of the brewery, but worth tracking down when available. Kauge (1976) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - JUN 4, 2016

Bottle. Cloudy golden pour with a thin white head. Aroma is a lot less hoppy than the taste, but once you taste it, nicely bitter, fruity and grassy, finishes nicely balanced. Very nice. dfearnley (2203) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - AUG 15, 2015

UPDATED: JUL 21, 2015 Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a dark golden color with a large creamy white head that lingered and left exceptional lacing. The aroma was faint with yeast, citrus, mustiness and a hint of perfume. The flavor was bitter perfume, citrus and fruity hops. Very long bitter finish. Medium body. Meh.
