Bottle poured into pint glass
A: hazy gold hue, slight head with almost no retention
S: light malt aroma, hint of lemon
T: thin taste, very tart tasting, not much hop bitterness. Slight citrus bite
M&d: thin light body, slightly watery
bottle. Golden with one finger head. A little less than the porter, but this one has an odd sour flavor as well. I have no idea if everything they make is infected, or if this is intentional. It’s not a good sourness. Other than that, I guess this seems like a pretty average blonde, but just unpleasant.

12oz bottle from Pace High Carryout. Gold pour with a huge white head and visible carbonation bubbling up. Aroma is sweet malts, fruit, bread, floral. Tastes are sweet citrus and honey up front with grass, vanilla, yeast, slight tartness to follow. Not sure this is a good example of the style, but interesting generally. Get the feeling based on other ratings that it’s all over the map on quality control. johndoughty (5600) - cheslyn hay, West Midlands, ENGLAND - FEB 14, 2014
Bottle. Orange appearance so why call it a blonde? This is not the only thing that was wrong with it. Badly bottled and very difficult to drink. Avoid. wnoble (1251) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - DEC 29, 2013
Pours hazy orange with some fizzy white head atop. Nose is bready, grainy, wheats, apricots, peaches, other various stone fruits.Flavor is tart peaches, apricots, tart finish and moderately carbonated. Strange blonde but liked the interesting flavor profile. SSSteve (4006) - - DEC 29, 2013
Murky blonde with small but stable head. Vanilla with cotton candy notes and a very fruity yeast aroma. Tart with bready notes. Apricot flavor with breadiness. Obviously open fermented with the tartness. I think this beer is misunderstood. Enjoyable and quite refreshing.

Hazy orange, some sediment, rim head, and no lace. Taste has malt and light carbonation bittering, but I most noticed a strong lemon with mild spice and citrus. Very similar to Lemon Shandy. Drinkable, but heavy for the style, and not appealing enough to drink regularly. anders37 (27635) - Malmö, SWEDEN - OCT 28, 2013
Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a white head. Has a fruity malty grainy aroma. Fruity malty grainy weak hoppy flavor. Has a fruity malty grainy and weak hoppy finish. DrSilverworm (10000) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - AUG 17, 2013
12oz bottle from And Beer in Athens, OH. Shared with b3shine. Totally hazy vibrant orange color. Thin, kind of bubbly off-white head. Loose spots of lace. Kind of an orange apricot aroma in the nose. Medium body. Kind of soft, lighter carbonation. Lightly dry finish. Moderate sweet taste, light bitter. OK blond ale. Pretty fruity and malty harrisoni (19553) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - AUG 17, 2013
Bottle from GBBF 2013 drunk at home. Hazy orange gold with thick thick rocky beige head. Plain toffee aroma. I mean it does smell of Thorntons plain toffee. Which is fine, but not sure I really like this beer. It’s ok, but dull. Some bite on the finish. It’s like a toffeeish bitter. OK, but nothing to excite the beer drinker in me. Oh and it’s oxidised as well. b3shine (9270) - Indiana, USA - AUG 15, 2013
Bottle to taster (shared by DrSilverworm). Looks solid; a cloudy orange with off-white lacing. Smells of dough and apricot with a bit of a floral aroma. Tastes like it smells with an average mouthfeel. Alright.
