The beer is very hoppy and sour it is not very good overall. Julie does not like it at all Leighton (21874) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 25, 2013
Bottle at GBBF 2013 - London. Many thanks to Fergus for the share! Pours clear gold with a foamy white head. The nose has some yeasty bread, light ripe fruits and apple. Medium sweet flavour with dry apple, applesauce, light dough. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Sweet finish with more applesauce, modest bready malts and some touches of baked beans. Very so so and a little bit weird. rondphoto (4488) - Lakeside Park, Kentucky, USA - DEC 19, 2013
@Weilands Market, Columbus. Hazy dark amber with tiny dots of sediment, a persistent 1/2" head, no lace. Taste is sweet American Ale - caramel malt grows a little in the palate, becomes slightly bitter in the finish. That’s it. Drinkable, but not at all distinctive. anders37 (26845) - Malmö, SWEDEN - OCT 28, 2013
Bottle. Pours a pale amber color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty caramel aroma. Fruity malty caramel flavor with weak hoppy hints. Has a fruity malty caramel yeasty finish.

12oz waxed bottle, purchased from And Beer in Athens, OH for $1.75 no more than 3 months ago. Mostly clear darker amber orange color. Thin off-white head. Couple loose tiny dots of lace, not much really sticks. Dark sediment at the bottom of the glass. Caramel, spicy malt. Some apricot. Lemon. Light herbal earthiness. Kind of a light tart taste, moderate sweet. Pretty much no bitter. Not a good taste. Seems like something has gone wrong with this pale ale. Medium body, lighter carbonation. Lightly sticky in the finish. Not an enjoyable pale ale. hopdog (12816) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 2, 2013
12oz red waxed bottle. Poured an amber color with an off white head. Fruity, some spices, and citrus. Lighter tart fruit finish. Shot (551) - Westerville, Ohio, USA - AUG 27, 2013
UPDATED: OCT 3, 2013 Pours a hazy copper color. Thin head dissipates rather quickly. Aroma is reminiscent of a blonde Belgian ale. Fruity esters with clove. Up front flavors are spicy citrus, lemons, dried apricot, clove. Finish is sour citrus with perhaps a bit of anise and burnt orange. Flavors are complex, but perhaps a little too sour for my palate. This would be a refreshing beer for a hot day, but it’s not one to sit and savor. Scopey (15281) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 26, 2013
Bottle at GBBF 2013, thanks to Fergus. It pours hazy amber with a small white head. The nose is toast, wood, leather, earth, brown bread and spice. The taste is wood, earth, resin, toast, light sweetness, caramel, dried fruit and touch of alcohol with a dry finish. Touch of sourness also. Medium body and average carbonation. madmitch76 (25101) - , Essex, ENGLAND - AUG 26, 2013

GBBF Day 1. Bottle, thanks to Fergus. Light haze on this amber beer. Good pale cream coloured head. Light crisp palate. Sourish orange over a little creamy malt, thin. Mild minerals. Comes together quite well.
