50 cl. flaske. Rød-brun farve og ganske uklar. Off-white top. Sødlig, karamel duft. Sødme og bitterhed i fin balance. Rigtig fin juleøl som kan anbefales.

Hazy amber color with off-white head. Aroma of caramel, chocolate, citrus. Taste is light sweet with caramel and chocolate notes. Pretty nice beer.

Bottle, 50cl. Pours quite hazy dark nutty brown, perhaps amber in the right shine.
Half-finger stable off-white head with moderate lacing. Berries, spices, wheat, banana and some yeast to top it off. Well-hidden alcohol as of yet. Easterly. Ripe and fermented fruits.
Bittersweet mixed flavor. Spiced citrus fruits. Not much wheat. Some brown sugar. Quite spicy. Moderate to heavy ripe, sweet banana, caramel and vanilla. Quite lingering spicy notes off cloves, almost grainy with some hoppy bitterness. Medium-heavy carbonation. Oily texture. Alcolic as it warms. Thick yeast, sugary and caramel towards the end.

If you don´t like heavy belgian beers, this one might do it for you. Hoppy wheat with a nice body of sugar too.

50cl bottle from a trade with fonefan, thanks! Pours hazy dark amber colour with a huge most good lasting beige head. Aroma of rotten banana, yeast, spices. Taste of sweet and ripe bananas, yeast, a bit boozy, too sweet for me.

Denne juleøl har et uklart rød-brunligt udseende med et svagt hvidt skum. Øllen har en sød aroma og smager sødt af karamel og lidt frugtig af citrus. Svag karbonering.

Mörkt bärnstensfärgad med ljusbrunt skum. Doftar och smakar mycket tropisk/citrus humle men även veteöl och karamellmalt. Söt och fyllig nästan oljig. Riktigt bra!

Bottle. Cloudy amber with white head. Aroma of Yeasty banana, cloves and wheat but also malty caramel, dried fruits, toasty. A light hop-bite. Complex. Medium sweet and light bitter. The body is medium and texture is oily. Interesting...

Fra flaske på DSJT, Cardinal nov-16: uklar mørk kobber med flott skum. Bær og krydder, hvetemalten gir fin munnfølelse. Behagelig bitterhet, men helhetsinntrykket er kjedelig og en smule ufriskt.

Actually fairly underrated, weizenbock with belgianesque flavour to it and quite full bodied at 8 %. Nice!

Look; dark amber hazy body, off white head.
Aroma; caramel, floral spices, banana, hops, tar note.
Taste; hops, caramel, spices, banana, honey, peat, small amount of prunes - leading to a hoppy yeasty finish. Dry feel.
Overall; so when Frederik has Xmas, he drinks a yeasty fir tree? I think this beer could benefit on less yeast/alco, slightly less piney hops, and more prunes. My personal opinion. A weizenbock on 6.5-7.0 is not bad.
