Hvid is a astringent fresh, citrusy, and a perfect thirst quencher in the summer heat. Bring the beer to the terasse, to the park, or to the beach, and quench Your thirst in the warm sunshine. Or enjoy the beer together with newly caught fish, shellfish, or summer salads. Hvid is brewed from barley and wheat malt, but is also added unmalted wheat from the area around Indslev. The beer is also added a selected mixture of spices, that adds to the beers aroma. Serve the beer refrigerator cold in the largest glass in the house. Shake the last 10-15 ml. before pouring.

Very hazy gold beer, little white head. Dry palate, a little soft. Watery malt with a trace amount of hop. Floral notes. Dry finish. Pretty bland but drinkable.

Ok.

50 cl. bottle in to a weizen glass, label says 4,4 % alcohol. Hazy, golden colour with a small white head. Light aroma with wheat, citrus, spices (coriander?) and a sweet fruitiness. Taste is light sweet with spices. Light body with a some what thin to creamy texture. Lively carbonated. Short finish with citrus, a bit of spices and a slight bitterness. Lacks a bit character, still good for hot summer days

330ml bottle. Pours a hazy, medium straw, white head. Estery, spicy aroma, citrus, cloves, wheat, yeast, phenolic. Off-dry, light body, low bitterness, lively CO2. Fruity, spicy taste, wheat, phenols, cloves, orange peel, coriander seeds, yeast. True to style, but maybe a bit on the sweet, artificial side? (2012-04-16)

09-may-2012, draft @Couloir. Hazy light golden with white head. Weak yeasty nose. Taste is pretty much malty hayish with yeasty stuff. Body is a bit thin. Uninteresting Wit.

Btl. at DE Meeting: No head at all, Pale yellow. nose is sweet and almost mazipan with butter. Flaw?? Medium body and length. Not very good as it tastes mostly of melted butter. In my opninion it should never have been bottled!!
