Hvid is a astringent fresh, citrusy, and a perfect thirst quencher in the summer heat. Bring the beer to the terasse, to the park, or to the beach, and quench Your thirst in the warm sunshine. Or enjoy the beer together with newly caught fish, shellfish, or summer salads. Hvid is brewed from barley and wheat malt, but is also added unmalted wheat from the area around Indslev. The beer is also added a selected mixture of spices, that adds to the beers aroma. Serve the beer refrigerator cold in the largest glass in the house. Shake the last 10-15 ml. before pouring.

Fresh witbier with an aroma, which reminds me of orange and lemon. The taste wasn’t as sour. A nice and wellcrafted beer, but nothing I would buy again - probably.

Bottled. Hazy yellowish golden colour with mediumsized creamy white head that leaves nice lace.Aroma is wheat, sweet malts, some fruits and mild spicy and herbal notes as well. Flavour is wheat, mildly acidic fruits as well as some herbal and yeasty notes. Not very special witbier, but indeed very refreshing.

[email protected] Very fruity aroma, mainly banana, coriander. Hazy, shiny yellow, white head, good lace. Sweet, malty, wheat, banana, light bitter, some citrus. Soft, medium full. Flavourful, well brewed. But no Belgian Witbier, more like a German Hefeweizen.

JorisPPattyn (10112) - BELGIUM - AUG 31, 2009
Head gone in secs over fully hazy orange beer. Spicy nose with coriander and faint citus; bit of chalk and possibly lactic acid. Coriander out in force, with some other spicy notes, bit of nutmeg and horseradish, but not sharp. Fake citrus. Spritzy MF, light, wheat slickness. Ordinary witbier.
