Hvid is a astringent fresh, citrusy, and a perfect thirst quencher in the summer heat. Bring the beer to the terasse, to the park, or to the beach, and quench Your thirst in the warm sunshine. Or enjoy the beer together with newly caught fish, shellfish, or summer salads. Hvid is brewed from barley and wheat malt, but is also added unmalted wheat from the area around Indslev. The beer is also added a selected mixture of spices, that adds to the beers aroma. Serve the beer refrigerator cold in the largest glass in the house. Shake the last 10-15 ml. before pouring.

larsga (7481) - Oslo, NORWAY - JUN 24, 2007
Small white head, hazy yellow body. Mealy fruity citric aroma. Thin acidic mealy wheat taste with a metallic, acid feel to it. Thin, harsh, chalky mouthfeel, almost like there is acid in it. Aftertaste is just a fading of the acidity. No good. (0.25l draft at Lord Nelson.)

BeerBiker (1415) - Odense, DENMARK - MAY 18, 2007
[Draught at Eventyrlbet, 2007.] After a 5 km run I almost ran directly to the Indslev bar to taste their Wit to clean the salt in my mouth. Very refreshing, but not as much as expected. Has some other notes as usually such as parfume, cream, yeast, hospital and soap. All in a different way never before tasted, but I think its the way they want it. I had a Sort hvede after, which was much better!

Bottle. Pale yellow with little white head. Aroma with notes of citrus and spices. Taste a little thin, not much wheat. Intended for a hot summerday its pretty ok, but there are better wheats.

Hazy yellow color with off-white head some note of appel and banana a littel thin and not much taste of wheat.

Maria (10213) - Thisted, DENMARK - MAR 15, 2007
Light yellow, hazy with a nice head. The aroma is just like a wit should be with notes of wheat, spice and citrus. The flavour is almost as nice as the flavour, but somewhat sweeter than the average wit, a bit thinner and with less citrus - and this is a minus for me.
