Vanilla, chocolate, coffee and dark malts aroma. Murky brown, beige head, fair lace. Sweet, pretty bitter, laurel, coffee, hoppy flavours in the yeast. Soft, in the finish a bit metallic. Strange brew, like a dry hopped Weizenbock.
Bottled. Hazy deep orangeish brown colour with mediumsized beigeish head. Aroma is roasted malts, some coffee and wood along with some fruits and mild sweetness. Flavour is quite much the same with also some maltyness present. Quite interesting. jonas (7549) - Garching b. München, GERMANY - AUG 17, 2009
Bottle. Chocolate nose.
Murky brown capucino head.
Roast coffee and chocolate, minerally grains with a good dose of aromatic hops. Definitely stoutlike. Citric retronasal. Quite pleasant. Wellbalanced grainbill, good job.
