Pours dark brown, almost black, with small white head. Aroma of roasted malt, mostly, some smoke and a hint of bread. Taste is roasty with a nice degree of bitterness in the decently long finish. Body a tad too light. Low carbonation.

Smells not too much, but tastes delicious and absolutely wonderful. The aftertaste disappears very quickly. But it was okay as me. Clearly a beer I can think of buying again. rlgk (18850) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - SEP 2, 2012

Bottle @ Rene’s house. Thanks so much for picking this up and sharing! Dark reddish orange appearance with a light brown head. Pretty sweet, brown sugar, caramel, toasty malty aroma. Fairly well balanced, lightly nutty, caramel, toffee, a touch roasty flavor. This one was fun to taste, though I thought it was a doppelbock and not a weizenbock. anders8000 (390) - aarhus.c., DENMARK - JUL 5, 2012
Hazy brown, Lots of malty sweetness, caramel, grain. Not too much what character here. True to style there is a fine bockish sourness in the background. Pleasant beer. KnutAlbert (6754) - Oslo, NORWAY - DEC 6, 2011

0,5 l. bottle bought at the brewery. Hazy, brown colour with a beige, long lasting head. Fruits and malts in the aroma with caramel, malts, spices, banana, bread and nuts. Medium body with a creamy texture. Taste is medium sweet with a long sweet malty finish. Light burn from the alcohol - this a bock after all. Good beer.
