A: The pour on this one is a light amber color with a rocky white head.
S: Damp oak and slight earthy and musty funk notes. Lightly lemony with notes of sawdust and a light malt note on the back end. A hint of watermelon rind and dust.
T: The sawdust character is certainly intense on the palate. A light lemon sourness as well as a hint of watermelon rind (which gives a slight bitterness). Lightly funky with a fair amount of must, leather, and grass.
M: The body is light to medium with a medium carbonation.
O: This was very homebrew-like in the sense that the beer sort of seems like the brewer didn’t really know what they were doing or didn’t mean for it to be sour.

Growler thanks to someone at Sourfest (have since seen this at Beachwood BBQ). Pours with a hazed yellow body and a small white head. Aromas are earthy, vegital, vinous, soil, tart and light chlorophenols. Flavors are sour, vinegar, acetic acid, chlorine, light malty. Warming slightly. Thin and a bit watery.
