Bottle. Very dark pour, nearly black but not quite opaque, with a foamy head. Aroma is some oak, whiskey and dark fruits. Flavour is quite sweet, plum, cherry, oaky with a whiskey finish. This is not anywhere near a stout, much closer to a Belgian strong dark ale, but still tasty. Lighter body but lots of flavour, not bad.

Colour off dark coffee with a cola like head. Sweet aroma hunting of chocolate liqueur. Flavour is surprisingly bright and sweet. Very refreshing with hints of crisp apples in the back end.

Nice dark stout that has a head of dark red/caramel. Aroma is very robust with oak and whiskey notes. Taste follows through.

From a bottle. Roasted coffee and dark chocolate aroma. Dark porter-like appearance with a brownish head that quickly disappears. Flavour is black coffee and dark chocolate. Full bodied with brown sugar sweetness in the finish.

UPDATED: DEC 7, 2015 Very sweet, definitely at the forefront making it instantly noticeable as non-sessionable. Little to no hop presense, not getting any wood/oak indicators. Roasted malt character, some caramel and toffee. Slight warmth in the finish brings a whiskey comparison. Very smooth with the warmth.

Almost syrupy sweet with a faint whiskey note. Dark in color with a tan head. Smells boozy.

Growler. This is an ok stout with a decent whiskey back burner. Interesting but nothing special.

Draft. Pours deep brown with thin white head that lingers thinly. Smells like banana creme pie. It's tasty. A bit thin for a stout. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours black with a thin tan head. Aroma is roasted malt, molasses, brown sugar, vanilla, oak, and Irish Whiskey booziness. Sweet roasted malt start with vanilla and toffee, caramel, and some cocoa. Some coffee notes with some dry oak flavors and Irish whiskey booziness and dark roasted malt finish.

From the bottle. Appearance is dark brown. Aroma of whiskey, dark fruits, caramel and sweet malt. Taste is sweet with hints of coffee and whiskey. Palate medium in the mouth with great alcoholic warmth. Not at all overpowering just well balanced, pleasant and drinkable. More please.
