Bottled (thanks omhper!) Quite much rubyish black colour, small head. Aroma is sweet caramel, toffee, liquorice and some slight alcohol. Flavour is quite similar in a quite dry wooden way. Not much of whiskey, but still quite pleasant, though it’s quite sweet.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a very dark brown with a warm reddish hue and a small, beige head. Roasty nose, pruney with a little yeasty phenols. Medium body, sweet overripe fruit and again some damned phenols from that yeast. Only a subtle hint of wood or whiskey. 110512

Opaque black - brown beer. Big fluffy pale tan head. Nose of lactose malt and spicy bubblegum. Smooth palate, airy and dry. Mild minerals. Bubblegum ester, a little spicy. Mild lactose. Trace of citrus and a whisper of dark fruits. Not really getting any whisky! Caramel. A bit dry and estery to be anything other than passable.
