COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This special bottling of Innis&Gunn has been matured in rare oak barrels from a famous distillery in Ireland. These barrels had been used to mature one of the great triple distilled Irish whiskeys. The result of this unique maturation is a big, full flavoured, complex beer with a delightful warming finish.

11.2oz bottle. Pours dark brown with a moderate creamy tan head. Aroma is wood, whiskey residue, faint vanilla, tobacco, and some soap. Taste is caramel, some whiskey, wood, light fudgy chocolate, and a little grain. Lightly bitter finish - with lots of boozy whiskey. Light-medium body. Average carbonation. Watery-oily mouthfeel.

UPDATED: JUL 29, 2017 Det är detta öl som bryggeriet når sin höjd på. Riklig whiskykaraktär i fatlagringssmaken

dorain (517) - Berlin, GERMANY - JUL 22, 2017
Aus der Flasche am 2017-02 getrunken. Typische Innes & Gunn Aromen treffen auf typische, sehr runde Stout-Aromen. Dazu ist diese Bier verdammt süffig. Klasse Teil!

JoeZasada (317) - Beaumont, Alberta, CANADA - MAY 12, 2017
Bottle. Pours a dark dark brown / blackish opaque with a thin tan head, moderate carbonation. Aroma is tinny, roasty, and oak-like. Taste: notes chocolate, roast, but not much burnt, warms to an oak sweetness. Finish is malty, oaky, some chocolate. Very good; this may be the best of the I&G’s beyond the original.
