Backlog rating from RBESG 2008, grand tasting: Amber, creamy head. Peaty, burned wood, woodsmoke, really very very smoked. Light to medium body. Not great.

Bottle, from deep in the bowels of my fridge, found while moving things around. I can’t even recall how I got this-- Rosser? Lots of peaty smoke with sweet overripe fruity notes (melon/papaya), oaky, with a slightly tart note in the finish. Imbalanced and too sweet for me.

thomat (4208) - Gteborg, SWEDEN - JAN 9, 2013
Reddish amber with a small off white head. Fruity with smoky notes. Fruit, wood and malt. medium body with a bitter sweet finish.

motelpogo (8031) - Plzen, CZECH REPUBLIC - MAY 5, 2012
bottled at the rbesg08 grand tasting in pilsen. clear amber with a minimal head; strangely medicinal aroma; dusty and musty with an aftertaste of czech imitation "whisky", which is far from a compliment

BeerSkull (1372) - SWEDEN - APR 6, 2012
Sweet scent of vanilla and butterscotch and a strong taste of vanilla and butterscotch. I do not experience the fusion of whiskey and beer, but this is more a sweet soft drink with a slight note of smoke and alcohol. I actually think this beer is really disgusting!

Joakgust (1502) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - JAN 15, 2010
Bottle, 33cl - Dark amber beer with a medium sized head. Aroma is malty with notes of butter scotch, sourish smokey whisky, milk chocolate and licorice. Flavor is sweet malty with sourish smokey whisky, caramel and salmiak. Nothing special.

Enjoyit (3809) - Vadum, DENMARK - JAN 6, 2010
Amber of color with a fastdisapering off white head. An aroma of smoke and whisky. A flavor of smoke, malt and sweets. Very nice!! ( i love smoke whisky)

Nisse666 (8153) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - NOV 2, 2009

Skinnyviking (9767) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - AUG 27, 2009
Bottle. Low fluffy white and quickly disappearing head. Clear dar body. Smoky oak aroma. Vineous smoke alcohol malt flavor with little hops bitterness, low carbonation, bitter aftertaste. A bit too much of a good thing.

angrybeerman (259) - Dublin, IRELAND - AUG 24, 2009
UPDATED: OCT 4, 2009 Had a rich oaky smell. Had a nice dark red colour and a decent head. Tasted smokey and fruity but a bit boring.
