""""For 30 days this honey-hued beer sleeps in hand selected oak barrels, locked inside a bonded warehouse, gradually assimilating the subtle flavours that reside in the wood. Barrels are then emptied and maturation continues for a further 47 days in a marrying tun where these natural flavours infuse and fall into perfect balance. This 77-day process is unique and produces a delicious, refreshing beer: Aromas of vanilla and toffee, hints of citrus, with a malty, lightly oaked, palate. Deftly balanced and light in texture, soothing and warming in the finish.""""

Zlotta (3275) - Hagen / Düsseldorf, GERMANY - MAY 30, 2017
0.33 l bottle from local ’LIDL’, bottled in April 2017. Clear, dark amber with a thin, frothy, stable, off-white head. Very faint, sweetish-malty aroma of caramel, honey and vanilla. Quite sweet, malty taste of caramel, honey, sultanas, vanilla and maybe slight hints of wood, followed by a short, moderately bitter, sweetish, slightly grassy and minimally woody-dry finish. Medium body, slightly oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Pleasant, easily drinkable, but quite bland, oak aging is hardly detectable.

Bottle from Lidl. Soft aroma of malt and barley, watery amber colour with no head. Tastes rather fine, vanilla, honey, quite sweet with quickly diminishing taste.

Ambree limpide, carbo moyenne, petit collet Aromes faibles, pain, caramel, cereales Autant le nez est faiblard autant en bouche c’est bien meilleur. Boisé legerement, vanille, fruité (mures). Un peu court mais bien agreable

Copper with an off-white head. Aroma is smokey with an odd chemical note. Wood, vanilla and smoke flavors with a slightly sweet malt finish. Medium bodied with low carbonation. Would love to try these flavor combinations in a 9% ABV brew. Interesting and fun.

Dorqui (2258) - Brescia, ITALY - MAY 23, 2017
Bottled 0,33L. Dark and hazy orange color, charged aspect with solid head resistance. Unusual sweetish and cognac nose, aroma of caramel and sweet woody. Unstable and very unbalanced taste, strong alcoholic and too much sweet body, mellow and warm mouth.

Smelt fantastic. Quite a deep smell, but not overpowering. Lovely red/brown colour Great taste; very complex.

geolgau (238) - Cluj-Napoca, ROMANIA - MAY 22, 2017
Pale, clear amber, almost no (white) head. Aroma is pale and subtle. Notes of honey, wood, caramel and malts. Light body, a bit watery. Taste is sweet. Grassy hops, a bit of honey, caramel and a light oak flavor. It has a pilsner-ish feeling. It is a nice surprise, but too simple.

3.3
Rotaldinho (188) - Paris, FRANCE - MAY 22, 2017
Light amber with a head that disappears quickly. Aroma is a light malt with vanilla from the oak. Sweet vanilla mixed with malt.
