""""For 30 days this honey-hued beer sleeps in hand selected oak barrels, locked inside a bonded warehouse, gradually assimilating the subtle flavours that reside in the wood. Barrels are then emptied and maturation continues for a further 47 days in a marrying tun where these natural flavours infuse and fall into perfect balance. This 77-day process is unique and produces a delicious, refreshing beer: Aromas of vanilla and toffee, hints of citrus, with a malty, lightly oaked, palate. Deftly balanced and light in texture, soothing and warming in the finish.""""

Pale, cloudy, light orange pour with quick, beige foam. Malty nose with toffee and some caramel and a little vanilla. Flavors are sweet with long duration, more caramel and vanilla and some oakiness. Medium body, light fizz. A pleasantly flavorful surprise for a 6.6% beer.

Gold color with great clarity, has a unique finish of a whiskey taste. The aroma is oaky with strong vanilla. There are also subtle fruity notes. Great beer

Fruity taste with little sweetness, hints of barrels, butterscotch, vanilla and dried dates. Served at 10-12 c as a social drink or tasty home cooking.

ALIBALI (1285) - Kiel, GERMANY - SEP 30, 2016
CRAFT BEER BAR Hannover. 0,25/4.

Scottish strong ale. A little aromatic with the flavours and aromas of Scotland.

Very slightly hazy deep honey golden under a thin off white top. Semisweet biscuity aroma with a wee touch of beechwood smoke, a little sausage, and bright oak. Smooth and bread malty flavor with a kiss of smoky malt giving a light German sausage nuance, oak, and a light bready finish. Light gentle honey throughout.

500ml bottle with no date. Pour light copper and clear. Fast disappearing white foam that left nothing, nothing at all. Im not even sure it was white, it was to fast to notice. Aroma of cheap scotch and wet wood. Taste like a scotch with too much water, notes of caramel and wood. Once in my mouth, its actually not too bad I should say. Full body for the style, medium carbonation. Warmth of Scottish ethylene and caramel finish.

The beer pours clear copper with an off white head. The aroma has toffee, alcohol, oak, caramel and some medicinal notes. It has a medium body with light carbonation. The taste has toffee, crackers, toasty malt, oak, dates and some earthy/spicy hops. Pretty good.
