2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Clear copper colored brew. Rum, oak and maltyness in the aroma. Sweet, rum, malty. Ok-ish.
Thin fizzy head of beige bubbles. Sweet malts, butterscotch, light spices, roasted grains and brown sugar. Color is a slightly hazy dark mahagony brown. Rather dry palate and thinner than expected. More spices, dry chalky grains, a bit of pasty malts, light rum and some crusty bread. Light alcohol presence. Finishes dry and a little astringent. Can’t imagine any hops in here. A decent brew. motthes (236) - GERMANY - JAN 21, 2018

UPDATED: JAN 6, 2018 Bottle. Dark ruby/mahagony with a decent white head. Some lacing. Aroma of rum, wood, brown sugar and dark fruits. Taste is rum sweetness, malts, a little bit of wood, some raisins and sugar. The rum is really present in this one. Medium carbonation. Balanced but I somehow wish it had something more to offer. Still nice though.

I tried this from a brown bottle and it is labeled 6.8%. Dark amber color. the aroma has brown sugar and sweet malt. I do find this warming. Alcohol in the aroma as well. Flavor has malt sweetness, and sugar, I can taste the rum. Nice palate. The alcohol is there but not overwhelming. Well done. vlada94 (256) - Nis, SERBIA - DEC 16, 2017
