Pours clear golden with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, vanilla, wood, caramel and hint of coconut. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a wood, caramel and vanilla finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Sorry not happy with this, nice clear body, good head when poured, but that's it afraid I don't like them taste or after taste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft - Honey sweet and a bit of raw oak. Clear gold and a rich white head. Honey and oak. Not good, not sure why people like it.

Lagerboy (2135) - British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 12, 2013
330 ml bottle. Clear orange yellow, off-white foam vanishes. Fruity, bready malt aroma. Fruity buttery malt taste, oaky vanilla, sweet whisky, faint herbal earthy hop, soft and oily. Soft-flat carbonation, medium bodied, lightly hopped. Disappointing. NFL (Not For Lagerboys)

0.33l bottle. A crystal clear golden one with a small but lasting just off-white head. The nose has caramel, toffee, almond flour, fyrstekake and a little bit of zesty apple. Not all that bad actually. Lots of sweetness in the taste. A bit to sweet for my liking to be honest. Tons of buttery toffee and almonds. It has a soft oily mouthfeel and a average carbonation level. Lots of apples - the red sweet kind here. Just not my kind of flavors in this, but its absolutely drinkable. 18.07.2013

Bottle. A clear, amber beer with a dense off-white head. Malty nose with toffee and dried fruits. Lots of malts in the aroma, caramel, toffee, and general fruitiness. Theres a nice bitterness in the flavor, with toffee and roasted notes. Bitterness towards the end. Fruity finish with caramel. A decent one, but boring. 131129

Foffern (1805) - Bod, NORWAY - NOV 29, 2013
Bottle at home. The colour is golden dark straw-yellow with a medium, off-white head. Aroma of fudge, oak, grass and vanilla. The flavour is alike but not that complex, and is dominated by sweet malt and grassy hops. Has a slick and rich mouth feel, and a medium bitterness. A decent english strong ale but not that complex as suspected, and is quite easy-drinking.
