Bottled 10/11/13. An orange coloured beer with no head. Sweet toffee, oak and whisky. Skunky nose. Too sweet and too sickly and the whisky doesn’t work. cthomas2390 (228) - Colorado, USA - NOV 16, 2013
Vegetal, sulfur, and diacetyl butterscotch on the aroma. Sweet vanilla malt character. Just a sweet version of tennants. ChristianHR (241) - DENMARK - NOV 7, 2013
Has a bitter aroma of citrus. The color is golden with a minimal white head. Tastes sweet with notes of honey, caramel. I don’t get much of the oak or any bitterness. RD400F (226) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - OCT 30, 2013
330ml bottle to tulip, appearance is a transparent amber with a large bright white head, poor retention. Aroma is strong...skunked hops, booze, caramel, oak, butterscotch, grass, and other stuff. Taste is very sweet and of cigarettes. Holy shit, was this supposed to be a soft drink? Not much of the oak either. Palate is cloying, low co2, horribly unbalanced, boozy and overall this was $5 not well spent. If I didn’t know otherwise I would’ve thought this was macro swill. Bottle from B&M Bargains; clear golden amber pour with small bubbly white head, feint woody aroma, taste has a hint of vanilla some sweet honey, soft carbonation.

Clear amber pour, small white head. Sweet oak taste, and really not a lot of the expected hops. Not much bitterness to be found.
Too sweet for me. DuffMan (10284) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - OCT 27, 2013
Bottle. No description needed, given the clear bottle. Typical Innis & Gunn: overuse of raw oak and underuse of malt with high residual sugar sweetness. Another miss, at least for me. ReV2 (178) - Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - OCT 21, 2013
Bottle from B&M. Sweet honey with resin & oak. I like strong, sweet beers but this one’s too much, something artificial here, Tate & Lyle Golden Syrup with tree sap? Not for me, sorry. gegwilson (3676) - North Yorkshire, ENGLAND - OCT 15, 2013
Bottle from B&M. Amber pour with frothy white head. Really quite sweet with plenty of citrus, oak, vanilla and a little toffee. Slight washing up finish. Too sweet for my taste. Borup (14342) - Albertslund, DENMARK - OCT 10, 2013
Sample at DØE 2013. Amber colour with a white head. Aroma and flavour of bourbon, vanilla, malt, fruit and caramel.
