Bottle from Half Time. Pours clear copper with some transient beige bubbles. Aromas of rum spice, mild treacle and arguably oak. Med body. Flavor is a bit of vanilla, rum spice, and a touch of treacle in the finish. Arguably finishes dry. There is a little bit of oak astringency in the very end. I tend to like these funny beers. But then I like Newcastle Brown too. hopdog (12673) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 16, 2012
Bottle. Sits in its clear bottle an amberish color and pours with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of rum, vanilla, some coconut, and some wood. Tastes of vanilla, wood, caramel, rum, and some spices. hopscotch (11159) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - JAN 6, 2013
Draft... Pours clear and amber with a small, fizzy, white head. The restrained bouquet furnishes light notes of caramel, oak and toasted almonds. Light to medium-bodied with a milky mouthfeel and tingly carbonation. The flavor is sweet and reminiscent of Amaretto with a touch of vanilla, but vastly watered-down. Finishes crisp and moderately sweet. Yet another technically flawless, but boring as Hell offering from Innis & Gunn. DocLock (10721) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 3, 2012
Bottle from Capone’s. Pours translucent copper with 3-finger creamy, uniform off-white head that laces well. Nose is toffee, oak, spicy spirity, and malty. Tastes very malty, woody and spirity, with some mid-palate spices, fruit, and caramel. Finishes oaky, spicy, and malty. leaparsons (10598) - Wigston, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - DEC 15, 2013
Bottle. Golden amber with an off white foam. Aromas are toffee and marzipan with vanilla. Spicy with dark rum and lots of booze. Honey and lemon with burnt rubber. Flavours are sweet caramel and vanilla with bitter lemon and rum syrup. Nutty alcohol with spices. Industrial and a bit rough. Still one of the better Innis & Gunns.

Draft at the Yellow Springs Street Fest Craft Beer Garden, served in a plastic cup. Really weird offering; other options were a few Abita, some Crispin ciders. Not sure how they came up with this lineup. Anyway, this one pours a mostly clear, rich amber color with a small off-white head that lasts for a while after an initial fizz. Notes of toffee, brown sugar, toasted nuts, and vanilla, though it all seems a bit restrained in the flavor, which has an unfortunate watered down, slightly earthy quality that saps the energy rather than balances the beer. Light-bodied, with medium carbonation. A bit disappointing. drowland (8827) - Georgia, USA - JAN 2, 2013
1/2/13. 12oz bottle. Clear amber orange pour with a nice khaki head that fades to a couple of millimeters and laces lightly. Sweet, malty aroma with caramel, toffee, vanilla, and a hint of booziness. Sweet caramel and toffee in the flavor as well, with oak, vanilla, and more booziness that I can’t particularly nail down as spiced rum. Eh. Tallahassee, Fl - ABC Fine Wine & Spirits - Bull Run (Thomasville Rd) - 12 oz bottle. Pours a sparkling medium copper with a thin off-white colored head, very light lacing. Faint trace of vanilla and cherries in the aroma, a hint of oak. Flavor has some light butterscotch, a hint of vanilla, some biscotti-like malty notes a hint of toffee sweetness. Mouthfeel is thick enough. Not a bad novelty. Radek Kliber (7370) - Toronto (Can) Krotoszyn (Pol), POLAND - AUG 13, 2013

Aroma fairly string Rum cask feel , straight with solid cask play.
Top: creamy off white lighter top, some lace shown.
Base: light brown
Palate : medium bodied.
Taste: frontal oak, hinted cola , classic feel to it. Solid malts behind. This is one of better Innis brews.
12 oz. bottle from the Beer Store, Nashua, NH. Pours clear copper with creamy, bubbles of white head. Nose is indeed spiced rum. Starts off with oak, butterscotch and vanilla upfront turning to water downed rum in the finish. To me it tastes like if you let a few ice cubes melt in a half glass of Bacardi. I do like rum but this really isn’t my thing.
