I love the aroma, it reminds me of vanilla frosting. the beer is smooth yet has a strong flavor. its not all malts and no hop bitterness. its perfect for an English style ale.

Bottled, from Systembolaget. Clear brownish amber, small head. Fruity nose with rhum and metal. Sweetish with medium body. Oak, rhum and honey grows to dominate completely. Low bitterness.

Amber color, with small head. Light aroma of rum. Simple flavor, some caramel and vegetables, with a caramellish touch of rum, and very light vanilla; ordinary bitterness. Not bad, but unexciting.

Boutip (6533) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - FEB 28, 2012
Bottle: Poured a deep clear light amber color ale with a medium size white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma consists of cereal with some light notes of rum. Taste is also a mix between some cereal with light sweet notes and some light rum notes. Body is about average with some good carbonation. This one works out better then the previous barrel-aged beer they have done.

Bottled. An amber beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of lemons, straw, and hay. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw, malt, and caramel, leading to a dry finish. Thanks Jürgen for sharing.
