330ml bottle. Pale amber colour. Large, frothy, off white head quickly disappeared and left no lacing. Dark fruit and caramel aroma. Pleasantly sweet taste. Medium body, smooth texture and a gentle alcoholic warmth. Would go down well as a nightcap. mkel07 (6385) - Brisbane, AUSTRALIA - AUG 9, 2014
Bottle from Archive Beer Boutique August 2014. Lots of spiced rum in the aroma makes you want yo get straight to drinking this beer. Full in the mouth with the rum blending in well with a mix of fruits and spices. mnurda (1298) - Winnipeg, Manitoba, CANADA - JUL 13, 2014
Bottled sample pilfered from neighbour. Pours clearing with minimal head. Toffee flavour with spicy notes. Would have this again.

Bottled 330ml from Tesco in Banbury. Burnished gold with no head. Sweet, sugary, syrupy start to this, vanilla and milky toffee notes. There is a slight spiced apple flavour that comes through. What I can’t get that much of is beer and rum unfortunately. Not really my sort of beer. ken1 (2146) - DENMARK - APR 11, 2014

Sweet with some butter & vanilla, some alcohol & oak. There is some alcohol from the rum & spice with various fruits too. Pleasant smelling one with some malts in the mix as well.
Medium amber with a small, bubbly white head about 1cm tall. The beer is clear as well.
Sweet malts with toffee & caramel, vanilla & butterscotch as well with plenty of alcohol infused throughout. Some oak & malts feature but the alcohol and spices seem to dominate along with a taste of diluted rum.
Smooth & warming from the spices & rum with only some grain coming through & a medium body. There is more alcohol coming through that I would have liked but the beer wasn’t a difficult one to drink.
Somewhat of a mix bag with a great mix of sweet malts, spices, vanilla and some rum but the alcohol content of the beer was all to apparent throughout and not particularly well masked. Sadly this one wasn’t one of my favourite Innis & Gunn offerings I’m afraid.
Bottle from Aldi; clear burnished amber pour with thin thin head, toffee aroma, taste has a hint of spice and vanilla, mostly caramel and malts with some fruit action. Finn (8149) - Tromsø, NORWAY - FEB 24, 2014
Flaske 0,33l Vinmonopolet, bestillingsutvalget. Drukket på RV124 4 Feb 14. Gyldenbrun. Middels høyt luftig skum som varer en stund. Forsiktig aroma av rom. Smaken er uttynnet rom. Hint av pepper. Kunstig helhetsinntrykk.

330 ml bottle. A clear, deep golden body with an off-white head. Aroma has vanilla and some butterscotch, but the level of butterscotch feels pretty OK in this one. Flavor is sweet malt, caramel, wood, vanilla, hint of spices and not much bitterness. Medium body and decent aftertaste. Not bad, a bit too sweet, almost a bit dessert like and would probably work as an after meal drink. PictouRx (186) - Ontario, CANADA - DEC 24, 2013
pours a dark toffee color, little head, caramel, some bread ,toffee, rum taste, smooth , some carbonation, not very complex.
