This limited bottling of Innis & Gunn has been finished over oak infused with Caribbean Spiced Rum. The result is absolutely delicious, bursting with the flavours of Caribbean spices along with our signature notes of vanilla, toffee and oak.

Pours dark amber from the bottle. The head is fizzy and rapidly deteriorates, soon vanishing entirely. The aroma is rum-ladened with hints of oak and vanilla - it is not, however, particularly strong. Taste is toffee sweet with a light rum kick going into the finish. Oak and vanilla round out the flavor. Palate is to the light side of medium, and a touch too thin for me. The barrel flavors are very nice, but still cannot make a great beer out of a mediocre one. Good.

Szkockie piwo dojrzewające 57 dni w beczkach po rumie. Kolor ciemno herbaciany. Zapach słaby, słodowy, minimalnie rumowy. Piana zostawia okrąg. Spore wysycenie. Smak troszkę rumowy, gorzko miodowy, treściwy. Czuć słodowość.

Copenhagen //5 2016. 33 cl bottle from Rema1000. Classic Innis & Gunn look but in dark bottle. Declares that this beer is full-bodied and bursting with fruit and spicy notes. I cant hardly wait. Pours deep amber with white head. Evaporates almost completely upon pouring. Aroma is sweet of vanilla, caramel, rum and a little alcohol. Soft carbonation and slightly thick palate. Flavor is quite sweet as well. Reminds me a little of sherry. You can actually taste the rum the beer is named after. Very typical I&G - and if you like their brand of beer, this is a fine specimen.

from the same Total Wine the old arse blonde was from. This was much better, though also seemingly past its prime. Muddled malts, with a light spice and boozey oak finish. Just ok.

Pours a dark amber with a thin head. Aromas of vanilla and some fruity notes. Flavor is a bit of the same with some caramel roasted malts. Not bad, pretty sweet and not really any hint of rum from what I can tell, but still a decent offering.
