Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of madmitch76. Pours a clear amber with an off-white head. Very sweet whisky aroma. Medium body, sweet caramel and again a neat but rather sweet whisky notes - but at least not butterscotch as the worst Innis&Gunns. 120412 madmitch76 (25009) - , Essex, ENGLAND - JAN 27, 2013

Clear amber - red beer with a decent off white head. Light dry palate. Minerals. Vanilla cream. Tangy fruit flavours flash by before a somewhat listless dry minerally finish. I&G are a guilty pleasure of mine but this one just passes muster.
Bottle from Half Time. Pours dark copper with a creamy near beige head. Aroma is sort of floral rum. Probably not a rum barrel, but it smells like it to me. Med body. Almost. The flavor is lightly spicy, definitely roasted malt, and something like a touch of wintergreen. And still, I think floral. Finishes not exactly dry, but not very sweet either. After a while I can get the oak. A fairly flavorful and somewhat astringent finish. I like it. crossovert (13080) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - NOV 26, 2011
2011. Tastes like other innis and gunn beers, pear, buttery, oak, and shite. j12601 (12700) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - MAY 17, 2012
Bottle of the 2011. Pours the same dark crimson brown that it is while in the clear bottle, under a rather large tanned beige head. Papery wood, a soft bit of vanilla and caramel, some smoke and burnt citrus. Medium bodied, quite sweet, but then it fades into relative emptiness. Has the same sweetness that most of the Innis and Gunn stuff has, but it’s not really offensive in any way. Smooth and easy drinking, a touch of sweetness, but not something I’d really ever crave.
