This bitter sweet pilsner, left an awesome after taste. one of the better Pilsners that I have had

Golden with a light sparkle. Thick head. Great, rich hop aroma, deep with a light fruitiness. Rich hop on the palate, too. Bright, cookieish malts. Very well balanced - dry, fresh, sweet all in one. Great pilsner, one of the best on this trip.

On tap at Gourmet Haus Staudt. Bright clear golden-yellow in color with a nice small but lasting white head. Big aroma of crisp pilsner malt and fresh grassy and floral hops. The flavor is very nice, more or less spot-on for a German pilsner. Slightly sweet pilsner malt, mild breadiness, and nice floral and grassy hops. Very clean and crisp on the mouthfeel with body on the lighter side. A damn, damn good pilsner. Really impressed with this.

Location: Half liter bottle from State Line, 2/15/13, as Innstadt Pilsener

Aroma: The aroma has some nice, clean hops, with grass, floral notes, bread, and pilsener malts
Appearance: It pours a clear golden color with a small, lasting white head and medium lace
Flavor: The flavor is crisp and on-style, much like the nose, grassy, malty, and with a nice hop feel
Palate: The body of this beer is right on-style for what I was looking for. It is a light, crisp, clean, and refreshing beer, with the only flaw being that it may have a touch too much carbonation to it.
Overall Impression: This is one of the best Pils that I have had in a while. Really good stuff. I don’t have much to add beyond that the crisp and refreshing flavor and drinkability this beer brings to the table is what I’m looking for in this style.

Beershine (5224) - VANCOUVER, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 22, 2009
Draft at brewery tap. Bright pale 14k gold color with thick tight white head and lacing. Aroma is yummy hops, slightly sour but in a good way and also floral. Slightly sticky but quaffable. Excellent flavors are crisp, bitter, dry, clean, sophisticated, herbal. A really good one.

motelpogo (7704) - Plzen, CZECH REPUBLIC - OCT 7, 2007
on tap at gasthof metzgerei hotel in bayerische eisenstein. very pale straw colour with fine golden bubbles and a light white head with a lasting bulge in the middle. aroma of pine, lime peel and mineral water. soft texture, hint of crushed nut, light but lasting bitter finish. subtle but elegant

Quack-Duck (9484) - Down South, GERMANY - JAN 23, 2012
bottle from Getränke Degenhart Passau-Grubweg. Clear pale golden yellow, large white head. Intensive hop aroma. Solid malty background with some sweetness. Lots of grassy-resiny hops, smooth palate - well balanced and well crafted. Very hoppy and very good!

Bottle 330ml. @ home.

[ As Innstadt Pilsner ].
Clear medium yellow colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, hay, straw, moderate hoppy, grass. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, chrispy hops. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120109]

vyvvy (6391) - Florissant, Missouri, USA - MAY 28, 2012
Pours lightly hazy yellow with a large white head. The aroma has pale pils malt, doughy bread and only mild hint of hops - clean and malty. While its medium body it seems full for the style and is quite smooth with a little carbonation on the finish. The flavor starts like the aroma with fully maltiness for a pils. The finish has a bit of spicy grassy hops added to the mix. Quite pleasant.

wlajwl (6742) - Quad Cities, Iowa, USA - MAY 7, 2012
Aroma is hops, yeast and a small hint of tea. The flavor is similar to the aroma, along with a mildly bitter finish.
