Moderate malty, bready, touch of caramel and corn with rather short dusty finish. 500 ml swing-top bottle pours an almost clear dark amber color with minimal white head. Smells of yeast/bread. Aroma is pleasant. with more malts than hops. Body is at least medium with minimal carbonation. It goes down smooth with a slightly creamy texture and no foul aftertastes. Not a favorite style of mine but worth trying. bierkoning (13355) - La Tropica/Doarp, NETHERLANDS - DEC 29, 2011

500ml swing-top bottle.
IT pours a clear golden red with a foamy white head that recedes slowly with some nice lacing.
It smells like bread, raisins, and nuts. A good sweet pastry, some people complain that this doesn’t seem like a seasonal, it definitely reminds me of the treats you eat during Christmas time.
The flavor is the same. It is a beautiful bock bier, one of the best I have had. It is so deep and luscious despite only being 5.6% alcohol.
