Really dug this one - think I got it pretty fresh. Pours clear golden with a large white soapy head. The aroma is very bready with minimal toast, cream, light spice and lots of roundedness to everything. Medium / light crisp body with refreshing light carbonation. The flavor begins with the aroma traits, but has more of a snappy crispness, extra spice and is quite refreshing. The finish has a bit of grass and pepper as well as clean dough malt mixed in. Really nice zwickel. armando629 (2456) - Budapest, HUNGARY - APR 14, 2008

Sampled on 9/1/08. This Kellerbier pours a medium orange gold color from a 50cl swing top bottle. Medium sized white foamy head, with decent retention and nice lacing. The aroma is cereal and grain, a touch herbal and floral. A medium bodied ZKL (Zwickel/Keller/Landbier). How is that for an abbreviation? The malts are cereal and grainy, bready and a little caramely. The hops are spicy and floral. Nice balance. Good carbonation. Kind of a run of the mill German lager, well its much better than that, but very drinkable. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and very smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet. doublebock (558) - California, USA - OCT 22, 2011
Golden cloudy with white head. Aroma is bland like a typical American big brand pilsner. Light and crisp with some lemon notes. It has the body of a hefeweizen with some bready sweetness. ganache (6032) - New Jersey, USA - JAN 19, 2009
Swing-top brought back from State Line. Straw color with a lacing, pillowy, brilliant white head. Cellar and lemon meringe with a light vanilla topping. Very malt-forward nose. Lightly bitter and lovely dominant pale malts. Nice citrus accents. Very light body, smooth feel, great endless chugger, coming close to a Kellerbier. Worthy! after4ever (8025) - Mukilteo, Washington, USA - DEC 25, 2009
500, taped swingtop. Pours a murky dark gold with a spectacular, surging, sudsy platinum blonde head that really hands around and leaves splotchy bubbles of lace. Doughy, bready nose. Mild light brown sugar showing. Creamy medium body with modest carb. Subdued mid palate of bread, cookie dough, brown sugar, and light nut. Mild finish. Just a vanishingly retiring beer from top to bottom. AmEricanbrew (6878) - Same Trailer, Different Park, Louisiana, USA - DEC 27, 2009
Clear amber color/ frothy white head. Yeasty lager. aged pale malt aromas with mild fruit cake. Light/ medium body, smooth mouthfeel. Sweet caramel, bready yeasty flavors with mild fruit cake. Not too bad.
