Bottle. Sweet banana, peach, clove and toffee malt aroma. Cloudy orange brown color with nice head. Sweet banana, clove, apricot, and light toffee malt flavor. Not bad - clove flavor strong but not much malt.

Bottled. Hazy ambery brown colour, mediumsized beige foamy head. Aroma is caramel, some fruits, mild acidicness and some quite toasted notes. Flavour is quite much the same with some bitterness lurking in the background. Not much wheaty notes at all atleast in this bottle...

Oakes (17700) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 2, 2009
Cloudy light brown. Light banana, with hints of chocolate, figs, dates and a touch of wheaty acidity. A flourish of carbonation cuts through the sweetness. Pretty good example of a style I rarely get excited about.

Beershine (5224) - VANCOUVER, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 22, 2009
Draft @ brewery tap. Is a great red color with lots of haze. Thick white cap. Quality aroma of dates, raisin bread, and banana. Clean, really well-done palate is not too sticky. Very good flavors, as thick as should be with breadiness and tons of raisins. Very good!
