500 ml flip top.
It pours a hazy orange-gold with a large but quickly dissipating and watery white head.
This one has a huge banana scent, almost pure banana with a hint of spiciness. For the most part though it is ripened banana.
The flavor follows suit, banana, and more banana, with a hint of spice and also some lemon and malt.
The mouthfeel is highly carbonated but not overly. It is highly quaffable though sweeter than most Hefeweizens.
Overall a solid Bavarian Hefe.

Poured a hazy brownish color with a large white head. Aroma has wheat, citrus, and some caramel. Taste is fairly skunky with oranges and yeast. Finish has a slightly chocolaty taste. Pretty tasty, but not the best example of the style.

Golden orange. Big, rocky head of tight bubbles. Maybe too clear for the style but otherwise right on. Nose is banana and some nutty malt accents, fairly well rounded. Despite the big head, this is somewhat flat. Combined w/ this the thick, oily wheat mouthfeel really comes off as heavy even though this is in no way too sweet. The flavor is pretty much in line w/ the banana of the nose only milder here. Slightly tart w/ almost no hop bitterness to finish. A nice, milder hefe but not really to my taste. pivnizub (10565) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - FEB 8, 2010
Bottle: Golden, lively carbonation, big stable creamy white head, a bit hazy; moderate sweetish-wheaty nose: cloves, yeast, lemons and unfortunately vegetables in the background; moderate sweet-sourish flavour, medium bodied; light tartness in the malty-wheaty finish, followed by a faint hoppy tail. Not bad, but not great..... MoritzF (9851) - Ottobrunn, GERMANY - NOV 23, 2009
(bottle) Cloudy, orange-golden colour with a big and blond, slowly lacing foamy head. Moderately sweet and slightly yeasty and grainy wheat-malty aroma with distinctive notes of banana and light notes of cloves. Moderately sweet and minimal acidic flavour, light to medium bodied with a slightly crispy mouthfeel. Slightly grainy and yeasty wheat-malty taste with notes of banana and a tinge of citrus and mild spicy notes; medium-dry, slightly sweet and sour fruity finish. A typical contemporary Hefeweizen of decent quality. 23.XI.09
