Bottle 50 cl. Cloudy and opaque orange with a dense off-white head leaving laces. Sweet banana and yeast in the nose. Medium body, banana accents, lightly tart citrus and some yeast. No bitterness. 100709 yespr (46522) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - JUL 23, 2009
50 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Light fruity estery aroma. Light wheaty note too. Dry estery and wheaty flavoured, rather yeasty. Ends light fruity and wheaty flavoured. Mild wheaty finish. 17thfloor (2443) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUL 22, 2009
Swingtop bottle. Opens with a forceful pop. Pours a beautiful clear light orange with an amazingly thick foamy white froth, very dense and sticks around forever. Aroma is sweet ripe banana and grains, like banana pudding, some caramelized sugar. Flavor follows aroma exactly, bananas foster, fried brown sugar, very lightly metallic, ripe banana, grainy, slightly hot finish. Body is quite thin and watery with very low carbonation. Starting to like it less and less the more I drink... way too estery. drjay44 (3768) - Salida, Colorado, USA - JUL 18, 2009
500 ml. bottle. Pours the usual huge fluffy white Hefe head which gradually deflates to a thin white layer, over a cloudy golden (SRM 10) body.....nose is wheat, light lemon, bit of apple.....taste is strong cereal, lemon, apple, initially seems sweet, but finishes dry....mouth feel is light carbonation medium. This is not as spicy as the best. Ungstrup (38140) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - JUL 10, 2009
Bottled. A hazy golden with a huge yellowish head. The aroma has notes of wheat, citrus, other fruits as well as a light note of cardboard. The flavor is sweet with notes of wheat combined with cardboard and citrus, leading to a dry wheaty finish.

Billed as being a new beer...not sure how old that information actually is, though. Passauer Weisse is cloudy with a light spice and banana note and maybe a hint of clove. Good, balanced mainstream wheat with spice, wheat, apple and banana. An approachable but very competent hefe. Beershine (5224) - VANCOUVER, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 22, 2009
Draft at brewpub. Orange and hazy with nice white head. Aroma is big fruity bouquet of as much orange juice and peel as banana. The palate is ideal and more quaffable than most weizenbiers for me, which is one of the reason why this one shines. Excellent and juicy, drinkable and hits all the right spots. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - MAR 20, 2009
(50cl bottle) Medium white head that mostly dissipates atop cloudy apple cider body. Aroma is medium sweet, banana, some clove. Taste is medium sweet, clove, some banana, light ginger. Light-medium body, light creaminess. CaptainCougar (7133) - Columbia, Maryland, USA - MAR 15, 2009
Pours a hazy orange bronze with a frothy, well-lacing white head. Aroma of sweet malted wheat and some banana esters along with a touch of lemon citrus. Body starts with average fullness and some biting carbonation with a semi-sweet wheaty flavor and some doughy yeasty character. Finishes with a touch of hallertau bittering hops and some lingering light sweetness. A decent hefeweizen. Geiserich (4542) - Linz, AUSTRIA - FEB 27, 2009
Bottled: Warm, fruity (banana, annanas), light sweetish aroma. Cloudy yellow, light orange color, huge creamy head. Flavor is light sweet, some toffee notes and sourish fuity. Quite sourish, light dry and light bitter end. Quite ok but poor finish.
