Bottled. A hazy golden with a huge yellowish head. The aroma has notes of wheat, citrus, other fruits as well as a light note of cardboard. The flavor is sweet with notes of wheat combined with cardboard and citrus, leading to a dry wheaty finish. Papsoe (25063) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - SEP 1, 2009

Deutlich süß bananiger Beginn. Spritzig hefig, hintergründig herb. Sehr bananig bleibend, die Herbe steigt und bildet einen angenehmen Gegenpol zur Süße. Mittellanger, hefig herber Nachgeschmack. 11/12/11/11/9/11 Oakes (17274) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 2, 2009
Billed as being a new beer...not sure how old that information actually is, though. Passauer Weisse is cloudy with a light spice and banana note and maybe a hint of clove. Good, balanced mainstream wheat with spice, wheat, apple and banana. An approachable but very competent hefe. brokensail (16436) - Dublin, California, USA - MAR 26, 2011
A: A great looking pour on this one. Cloudy golden orange with two fingers of white head that stick to the glass.
S: Doesn’t have the best aroma for a German brewed Hefeweizen. A definite lemony tartness to it, but there is a good enough wheat and bread sweetness. A mild clove spiciness and some hints of orange are there also.
T: A significant improvement on the flavor. Sweet and bready with plenty of wheat. There’s an oddly tropical flavor to the beer with some fruit notes to it and even a bit of coconut.
M: Medium in body with a lively carbonation.
O: Good in the flavor, which I suppose is what’s important, but the nose could use some work. Dedollewaitor (16056) - Odense, DENMARK - FEB 6, 2011
Bottle @ Na Sumave, Prague. Pours cloudy golden with a creamy white head. Sweet banana, grain and wheat. Medium bodied. Sweet. Clean. bhensonb (15094) - Woodland, California, USA - JUN 14, 2008
500 ml. bottle. Hazy apricot color with a multifinger white head. Aromas of banana, wheat, citrus and mild spice. Flavor is banana. With a little wheat, citrus and clove. It surely fits the style, and it’s very tasty. Finishes with banana and clove, but mostly banana. There’s a little noble hop bitter playing in the background.
