COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Made from wheat and pilsner malt. He added orange peel and coriander to give a hint of citrus and complex. The fermentation process produces a slight scent of species. It has a light body and dry, making it delightfully refreshing.

Copenhagen 17/2-2018. 35,5 cl bottle from Meny. What looks like a lot of Oranges on the label. And the characteristic Owl in the Insurgente logo. Pours slightly hazy golden yellow with white head. Settles as 0,5 cm thick layer of foam. No lacing. Aroma is not particularly strong but gains significance as the beer warms. Light fruitiness - citrus, orange - like lemonade. Not much else. Strong carbonation and watery texture. Flavor is medium sweet followed by medium sourness. Aftertaste is bitter, sour and short. Decent Mexican take on a Wit Bier.

On tap at the brewery pours out a hazy straw color topped with a white head. Nose is spice some yeast notes and grain. Taste is more of the nice sweet malts spice and a nice end.

My Bottom Line:
Milky coriander and creamy orange juice aromas build a sherbet of a Witbier with bready yeast connotations.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A stable head of foam covers the hazy golden.
-The finish is a tad forgettable compared to the aroma.
-Mouthfeel is rather bubbly.
-This is easygoing enough to be quenching and pair well with typical Mexican dishes.

Bottle.

Boring beer.

Bottle in Seattle. Heavy gold color, light head. Light swampy sweet nose. Wheat and heavy malts, golden honey, some lavender perfume. A bit wet and heavy. Ok.

Bottle from Sprout's: Poured a light straw gold liquid and topped with a medium sized cap foam head. Aroma is delicate and barely has any fragrance of ground coriander and orange peel. Thankfully the flavor has more pizzazz than the aroma by delivering an upfront taste of coriander seed and sweet citrus fruit peel such as orange and tangerine. Also pick up a taste of peach with no overbearing notes from the yeast used. Rounded out witbier that is quite possibly the best white ale I have drunk imported from Mexico. Well done.

Apariencia : pajizo nuboso (3 SRM aprox.); cabeza compacta color blanco tiza y de pequeñas burbujas; buena retención; regular encaje Aroma : cereales frescos; notas cítricas de naranja y limón amarillo; ligeras notas especiadas Boca : fresco ingreso; sabor de granos con ligera citricidad; tenue amargor (18 IBU) con final seco; cuerpo medio; buena carbonatación
