Rated on 9-16-2011 (Bottle) This beer pours a small fizzy light brown head that mostly diminishes, opaque dark brown body and spotty amounts of lacing. The aroma is roasted malt, chocolate and blueberries. The taste is sweet, roasted malt, chocolate, blueberries, and has a semi-dry finish. The mouthfeel is lightly tingly, watery and thin. This beer is light bodied. Very thin texture and could do without the fruit for a porter. Weird. shigadeyo (3749) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - AUG 2, 2013

6/30/2011: Intercourse Blue Ball Porter... Aroma: True, fresh blueberry; soapy; reminds me of walking through the fruity candle isle in Bed Bath & Beyond; blueberry isn’t bad, but that’s not what this beer is supposed to be... Right?! Appearance: Well, it’s the proper very dark brown color, ruby tones, opaque; darker than expected and encouraging based on the previous two Intercourse offering tried tonight... Flavor: Really, really weak chocolate, blueberry, raisin, DUST, burnt malt... Wow, I really have no idea how to describe this beer as it is unlike anything I have ever had and IT’S NOT GOOD; Palate: Medium-light; weak. Overall: This beer and this brewery is HORRIBLE; this is like Intercourse, it’s more like a cluster f*#$! The only one that got screwed was me for getting suckered into buying these TERRIBLE beers...
12 fl. oz. bottle from The Anderson’s General Store in Toledo, Ohio. Rating #32 for this beer.
Slutfest 2013: Blueberry nose, with horehound underneath. Cola brown, thin tan head. Blueberry and dirt flavor. Tree bark toward the end. Light astringency. Kinz (3786) - Glen Allen, Virginia, USA - APR 13, 2013
Medium reddish blackish brown. Smoky pepsin aroma, quite pleasant. Faint dark fruit. Flavor is almost like artificial blueberry bubblegum and some slight smoke. Strange. Butters (4059) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - APR 13, 2013
Sampled at Slutfest 4 - Sexytime! light brown pour with very faint ring of khaki head. Light roast, almost a little lactose twinge as well. every so slightly smokey on the tail. Meh. Name is the best thing about it. But not horrible.

This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a small sized head of foamy finely sized bubbles that were quickly diminishing and left behind a strong bubbly carbonation opaque black colored body and a poor lacing. The nice aroma was roasted malt. The mouth feel was tingly at the start with a mellow finish. The bubbly flavor contained notes of roasted malt and . A decent one that I would consider buying again. Sample at Ale Wine & Spirits in Powell on 08/09/2012. Pours dark brown with a thin light beige head that dissipates quickly to an outer ring. Short strings of lacing. Aroma of roasted malt and berries. Light-bodied with flavors of sweet malt, chocolate and berries. The finish is roasty with a lightly tart berry aftertaste. Slightly above average overall. I love Intercorse! good dark porter with a roasty kind of vibe. Mixes well with ales to make black and tans.

bottle from beckley’s consumed 6/14/12.
typical porter color, small short lived tan/ow head.
blueberry aroma right off the bat... it settles down to reveal roast, light spice, chocolate and malt...smells pretty dang good, actually. artificial but good.
the flavor is similar but with a tart fruity finish and a earthy spiced thing going on. blueberry stands out but its not too overwhelming.
crisp, light bodied and drier than i expected. 7/3/7/3/14
