puzzl (3260) - New York, New York, USA - DEC 8, 2007
Bottle, about 8 months old. Very rosy, perfumy aroma, obviously. Slight acidity and old, spoiled honey that is somewhat characteristic of this meadery. Pretty red pour. Good honey up front unfortunately dies into a rough, formaldehyde finish. Yikes. Ruins an otherwise nice mead.

Thanks to RLB for sharing. Pours a violet/pink body, clear and still. Aroma is rose hip- sharp light acidic rose hip- vitamin C character, with a nice refreshing tart cranberry hint and mild honey sweetness- herbal and flowery hints are pretty strong. Sweet honey and spice flavor, peppery, flowery, tea-like, with a clean yet tart cranberry finish. A bit too herbal and flowery for me.

jimmack (1223) - Nutley, New Jersey, USA - MAR 6, 2007
Bottle thanks to RLB. Clear, dark pink color with decent legs. Aroma is floral and sweet, with cranberry notes, honey and apple. I did not get any of the tartness in the flavor that others have mentioned. Sweet flavor of honey, grape jelly, cran-apple and rose hips.

tiggmtl (4544) - East York, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 19, 2006
Floral, perfume-like, almost nutty aroma. Clear ruby tinged body with excellent legs on the glass. Perfumey, lightly spicy, sweet and floral with light balancing tartness in the finish. Lasting fruity sensation in the aftertaste. Medium body is never cloying and alcohol is never notable. Sampled at Mondial 2006.

Rastacouere (6177) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - JUN 27, 2006
Still pinkish. Strongly floral nose is hugely sweet, well assertive on the honey and bringing the cranberries and their acidity aptly to create a rather original nose that is basically what you would expect from the name. Lasting sweet/tart finish full of floral aromatics, perfumey with cinnamon and vanilla extract undertones. Not necessarily complex, but the cranberry acidity is just admirably displayed for a drink that might have been a gimmick. Good going.

muzzlehatch (4969) - Beloit, Wisconsin, USA - JUN 10, 2006
Sample from the bottle (375 ml) at the Mondial de la Bière in Montreal, 2006. Supple legs slide gradually down the glass into the pale berry-pink, oily-thick translucent body....faint sour cranberries and white grapes are apparent in the strongly floral, sweet nectar hitting the nose....the flavor profile is very potent and forward, with very tart/sour fresh cranberry mashing hard on sweet clover honey, and alcoholic bitterness showing up late to muddle things a bit.....huge thick finish, massively tart and honey-vanilla simultaneously, very long aftertaste. A gem.

heemer77 (5358) - Urbandale, Iowa, USA - JUN 5, 2006
Sampled at Mondial 2006. A medum red almost pink type coloring. The aroma was deifnitely roses with apples and the honey. There was some hint of tartness. The taste was very sweet with roses and cherries. There was some peach in the aftertaste.

Quevillon (3143) - Boisbriand, Quebec, CANADA - MAR 25, 2006
Bu au Salon du vin de Montréal 06. Couleur légèrement rosé. Arome fruité légé et des roses dousses. Goût légé de miel et de camberge et fleurie. Bien.
