3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Can from mini bar at Omni Hotel, Jacksonville, FL. Hazy amber body, great lacing, with a piney spruce nose. Flavor is the same with resiny bitterness on the palate, stale orange juice and a definite hop bite. More balance would make this a real gem.
12 oz can from Jacksonville. Cloudy amber pour with a thick beige head and excellent retention. Very good lacing. Caramel malt and piney/citrusy hop flavors with soft bitterness. Not bad for an IPA. 7.0 ABV is well hidden. jkwalking05 (4745) - Arlington, Texas, USA - JUL 23, 2017
12 oz can. Amber with a decent off-white head. Aroma is of caramel, not a hop bomb, some citrus and pine. Taste is of malt, caramel, pine, herbal, and grapefruit. islay (3007) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - JUN 11, 2017
Portion of approximately 4 oz. pour, on tap at the brewery’s taproom in Jacksonville, Florida. Consumed on 5-26-17. Pours a clear, copper-amber with light beige head. Produces good lacing. Nice, dry, tangy smell features a pine scent. Good, fresh, and hoppy aroma. Sweeter in taste than I expected, but there’s still a lot of hoppiness. Mineral flavor. Powdered sugar. Intriguing taste. Substantial in the palate. Lively. Medium to full body. BeerandBlues2 (13825) - Escondido, California, USA - JUN 7, 2017

A bright resin heavy citric IPA that hold its hop banner high. Medium bitter profile, but fresh and juicy. Pouts light brown with a small white head. Not a standout, but very solid. DYCSoccer17 (3708) - Woodland, California, USA - SEP 1, 2016
6 pack of cans purchased from a gas station in Jacksonville. Canned 8 days ago. The aroma has some piney and dank character. Mostly pine, though. Pretty old-school. Scantly hazy orange-copper body with a strong, persistent light yellow head and nice lacing. Starts with some nice pine hop bitterness that lingers. Malts are really in the background, and there is not much sweetness to back up the hops. Finishes with a papery texture, before relatively bitter grapefruit flavor comes in at the end. Perhaps a bit too much Crystal malt in this. Needs a little more malt sweetness. hayduke (5677) - Eureka, California, USA - AUG 1, 2016

Super piney and resinous aroma with a big orange juice and zesty lemon. Definitely citrus forward. I had it on tap and it’s almost like fresh squeezed orange juice. Super dry, and bursting with citrus. No weird malt to speak of, just tons of zesty awesome citrus and pine. Super bitter the whole way through, I absolutely love this beer. I had it almost every chance I could when I was in Jacksonville, I hope it moves north. Cheers!
