8/1/12. Growler from the brewery. Clear light amber pour with a small khaki head. Fragrant aroma with tart pine and black tea. Light but flavorful with lemon, pine, caramel, and tea. Not bad. Jlo7399 (218) - Florida, USA - MAR 20, 2012
Pours copper with moderate white head. Aroma is piney hops. Aroma is what shined in this beer. Taste is pine, grassy, and small malt backbone. There is a bit of a bite at the end. Palate is thin, but that is expected. I like what they did here; a hoppy and sessionable beer. burg326 (5607) - Florida, USA - MAR 12, 2012
On tap at The Brass tap for Local Takeover night, pours a rusted copper color, with aromas of pine spruce, vanilla, and little hops. Flavors of sweet bread, spruce, and vanilla. Very sessionable beer that was ordered multiple times at our table. Can’t wait to visit this brewery in a few weeks. PorterPounder (8284) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - MAR 10, 2012
On tap at the tasting room in Jacksonville. Dark copper pour, off-white head with good lacing. Very fragrant spruce aroma with a hint of vanilla. Flavor is very full-bodied for such a light ABV. Good citrus bittersweet notes, some bready sweet cake mix notes in the back end and a touch of mint. Mouthfeel is thick enough. Pretty solid.
