Portion of approximately 4 oz. pour, on tap at the brewery’s taproom in Jacksonville, Florida. Consumed on 5-26-17. Pours a very dark brown with taupe head. Produces good lacing. Malty, chocolate aroma. Not quite imperial-level stout aromatics. Nice, roasted taste. Low end of the imperial stout style in flavor quantity. Good not great taste. Medium to full body. Soft in the palate. Lively enough.

UPDATED: AUG 22, 2017 Draft at the brewery The stout poured an opaque black with a small tan head. and lacing. Aroma of chocolate and light coffee greet you. The taste has more of the same with licorice and hints of Amoritta. The stout has a medium body with average carbonation. A very nice stout with balanced chocolate malt and bittering hops. This version had 8.5% ABV. Had another at the new Amelia Taveren in Fernandina Beach. This is an excellent stout. Very smooth with coffee and chocolate lacing every swallow.
