Beershine (5253) - VANCOUVER, British Columbia, CANADA - MAR 11, 2012
Draft at 7venth sun. Dark pure amber glass. Scattered lacing. Toasted caramel malts, and friendly English hops. Sweet malt sugar undercurrent, and a crisp, dryly bitter, hoppy finish makes for an exquisite balance even an Englishman would like. Well-constructed, solid. The name says it all. This is a very accessible, no-nonsense beer. More, please!

Pours copper with white head. Aroma is citrus peel and piney hops. Taste is mild hop bitterness with a nice malt backbone. Palate is light and carbonation is standard for the style. Very enjoyable, and awesome it’s in the can. markwise (5450) - North of Tampa, Florida, USA - JAN 4, 2012
On draft at Intuition. Pours a light amber color with an off-white head. Nose is some grass along with notes of citrus, orange, and some kumquat. Flavor is similar- nice malt presence with some orange and citrus. At 5.5%, this is a wonderful session ale. Light in body and finishes with lingering citrus hops. jcwattsrugger (12592) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - JAN 2, 2012
on tap @GABF-pours yellow/gold with a rich light tan head. Aroma is sweet orange/some pine, light/medium malt. Taste is sweet orange/some pine hops, light/medium malt-caramel. Beerlando (3343) - Orlando, Florida, USA - OCT 16, 2011
Draft at Poe’s Tavern in Atlantic Beach. Pours mostly clear, with a bright, glowing, deep golden-orange amber color. A small head of off-white foam is quick to fade. Spotted lace is scant. The nose is fairly standard pale ale fare, showing a base of bready, toasty, caramelized malt with a fruity and floral hop balance that suggests of orange marmalade and grapefruit blossom. Flavors follow suit, nice and toasty-bready with a fresh, peppery, floral-citrus hop bite as the counterpoint. The palate sports a moderate body with bright, lively, sparkling carbonation. Overall, it’s an above average pale. I’d like to see a little more dryness, but there’s not really much else to complain about.

Draft at Mellow Mushroom in Jacksonville, FL. This one pours a dark golden amber color and topped by a small, smooth head of eggshell colored foam that shows good retention. The heads recedes and leaves sticky patches of lacing around the glass. The aroma is nice and hoppy showing notes of orange peel and bitter grapefruit hops along with a touch of fresh grass. Toasted bread and caramel malt form the backbone and offer nice balance to the citrus hops. The flavor follows suit with the citrus fruit and toasted bread up front followed by the orange and grapefruit hop bitterness on the back end. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation that leads to a clean, dry, and bitter finish. This is a solid, easy drinking pale ale. decaturstevo (6343) - decatur, Tennessee, USA - SEP 18, 2011
Deep gold with creamy white head and lace. Hinto of sweet caramel malt and some citrus. Dry malt with a funky hay. A hard bitter citrus. A bit out of balance. Thin and fizzy. beernovice39 (3269) - Idaho, USA - AUG 9, 2011

On tap at the tap room in Jacksonville. Medium copper pour, off-white head, light sruce aroma with a hint of vanilla. Flavor a a nice subtle citrus bent to it, some nuttiness, and an underlying bit of butterscotch. Sticky mouthfeel. Overall, ok - good session starter. jrob21 (3969) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - MAY 2, 2011
On tap on Amelia Island. Not a bad drink to sip while walking down the beach. A smooth, more malty pale, a little caramel and some mild hops working. Grassy and faint on the finish. Bigger mouthfeel than what I would normally expect for the style.
