clear crimson red hue, off white head. lots of resin in the nose. taste has some biscuits, citrus, and hop resin. moderate bitterness. medium to full bodied. Clarkdvm (511) - Florida, USA - OCT 23, 2015
Growler from brewery. Taster at place was much better. Few days later, nothing really positive other than appearance. Smells gross. Overly hoppy for a red. Lots of bitter aftertaste. Just not what I’m looking for in a red. Disappointing as this brewery is great. Theydon_Bois (19512) - Hazlemere, the lower Xhitlerns, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - OCT 3, 2015
Keg at the brewpub, 19/02/15.
Reddish amber with a decent beige cviering that dissipates then retains as a swirl.
Nose is earthy hop, candied fruit peel, caramel, citric pith, red grapefruit.
Taste comprises earthy hops, pine needle, blood orange, light spice, candied fruit rinds.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a spattering of hops.
Decent enough hoppy amber. chinchill (5022) - South Carolina, USA - MAR 25, 2015
Served at beer tasting venue during the 2011 Jacksonville Jazz Fest. (from notes). Thanks Cari!
Pours with a super creamy and lasting tan head over a dark red-brown ale.
Has an excellent aroma I associate with West coast hops. The flavor is hoppy from start to finish, with some malt in the mix prior to the finish.
M - smooth. That durable head adds to the feel all the way until the bottom of the glass.
O - A superb red ale for hop heads, with plenty of hop aroma, flavor and bitterness. Significantly more hoppy and bitter than a Dundee IPA that followed it. This is a robust beer perhaps best classified as a Red IPA. djd07 (14519) - Houston, Texas, USA - FEB 18, 2015
On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear copper with small beige head. Aroma is fruit and cereal. Thick mouthfeel with sweet caramel malt, grass with a light dry finish.

On tap at the brewery. Reddish copper pour with an off white head. Hoppy aromas. Plenty of hop notes in this red ale. Average body and mouthfeel. Tmoney99 (14492) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - DEC 30, 2014
Draft. Poured a clear orange copper color with an average fizzy off-white head that was mostly lasting and had excellent lacing. Good earthy hop & toasted sweet malt aroma. Medium to abundant body with smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy bittersweet flavor with a medium to heavy bittersweet finish of moderate to long duration. Very good brew. Taproom, pours burnt copper with red hues and a white head. Aroma is super citrusy and dank hops, caramel, and nuttyness. Taste is citrus, pine, nutty, caramel. Medium body with a slight bitter finish. Not as bitter as the IBUs would suggest. More like a Red IPA. decaturstevo (6244) - decatur, Tennessee, USA - MAR 10, 2013
Deep amber pour with creamy off white head and lace. Aroma of citrus hops dominates. Sweet caramel malt start with a dry finish and a nice citrus bitter. Medium body but fizzy. A prety good beer. aobecksy (700) - Middle of no where, Ohio, USA - MAR 3, 2013
On tap @ Intuition .. . deep red, seems to have some chocolate undertones, great amber for breakfast; but it seems more than an ale, lovely drink.
