UPDATED: OCT 7, 2012 Inviting, toasted, nutty, floral, biscuity aroma. Great latched bomber, dark citrine brew with a big white head. Floral and chemical, moderately bitter, grassy, toasted. Fairly light body, light carbonation - this probably was drawn from tap, so I don’t know how it is in its native state. Long toasted grain finish. Thanks to LuckyDog for hauling this back from his Jacksonville trip. drowland (8888) - Georgia, USA - AUG 1, 2012
8/1/12. On tap at the brewpub. Light amber pour with a small khaki head. Floral and bready aroma with citrus and tropical fruits. Lightly spicy, breadyvflavor with lots of floral and fruity hops again -almost bordering on perfumey. Not bad! Foxbush (2072) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - JUL 30, 2012
Draft at brewery. IBU 38 This was the first ale tasted at the brewery. My daughter was with me. TheTaproom had plenty of tables and wall mounted TVs to watch the olympics. The Rye IPA had a white frothy head with a redish to light amber color. This is new offering for the Taproom. There was a bitterness in the upper mouth with an unidentified metalic taste. Carbonation was average with a smooth finish with some lingering bitterness.
