Cask at The Moon Under Water (JDW), Watford on 26 Apr 2012. Poured a clear golden colour, with a dense white head. Aroma of malt, peaches and very light peppery hop. Boiled sweets in the flavour, with shortbread and tangerine. Finish was dough, barley sugar and tinned fruit.

On cask. Cloudy orange, velvety pour with a creamy white head. Decent lace. Malty caramel, slight orange peel, pine, grapefruit. Prominent hoppy backbone with a smooth mouth feel. Decent.

Cask at the Society Rooms, Glasgow, Scotland. Good little session beer; pale yellow body, spicy hop and malt aroma, bready up front with a short hop on the tongue followed by a slight caramel on with a wet finish, a dry hoppy tang aftertaste. Nice little session beer.

Clear medium orange yellow color with a average, frothy and open, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel, light to moderate hoppy, earthy. Flavor is moderate sweet and light light bitter with a average to long duration, sweet malt, fruity hops, fruity. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. [20120119]

On cask at the Scottish Real Ale Festival, 2012. Pours a yellow colour with a thick white head. Aroma of lemon, pine, caramel, yeast and alcohol. Similar flavours with moderate carbonation and an oily mouth-feel. Quite dry also.
