500 ml brown bottle with a BB date of June 2016. Consumed in Largoward, Fife on 2 May 2015. Nice fresh mix of hops and malts in the aroma with a solid punch of caramel. The flavor is more malty but about equally bitter and sweet. Marginal 8.

Aroma: grain, bread and caramel malts. Appearance: clear brown, medium, creamy, white head. Taste: light sweet. Palate: sweets continue, grain malts, some caramel. Overall: OK ESB, nothing too extraordinary. Pint at Illicit Still, Aberdeen.

YantarCoast (1474) - Moscow, RUSSIA - APR 22, 2015
500ml bottle. Pours cloudy amber with no head. Bottled in December 2013, and less than 10 days before use by date... Aroma of chocolate and fruit. Taste is toffee, chocolate and nuttiness, but also some sourness, which is probably down to the beer's advanced age.

Cask, Chelmsford Woolpack Beer Festival. Aroma is elderflower, flowers and nector. Good head rentation. Nice bitterness. Lots of rosemary. Good fruity yeast esters. Great spring bitter.

500 ml bottle. Pours a dark amber colour with a small off-white head. Aroma of caramel malts and honey. Taste of caramel and roasted malts. Medium bodied with an average carbonation. A bitter and spicy finish. A well balanced scottish ale.

Clear chestnut colour. Small frothy white head. The flavour starts off malty, turning roasted with a sort of spicy malt note. Later comes a mild grassy hoppiness followed by a medium bitterness which is quite clean.

Pours brown, with an off-white head. * Full bodied, medium carbonation, very fine bubbles. * Aroma is malty, rich, chocolate, spicy. * Taste is earthy, toasted malt, nutty, spicy and salt & pepper. * Palate is full and dry, almost like a stout. * Finish is very dry with salt & pepper. * Nice aroma, taste OK but finish is too dry and of salt & pepper.

From a 500ml bottle on 7/1/2015. Pours a cloudy amber with a small head. The nose is subdued, with a minerally aroma most evident with a hint of toasted malt. In the mouth, you find more pronounced toasted malt, some citrus fruit and a really firm, quite salty, bordering on harsh, bitterness. Has a light body and average carbonation. I couldn’t really take to this one. The flavours are not particularly balanced or harmonious, with the bitterness actually a little unpleasant.

How: Bottle. Appearance: dark amber, medium off-white head. Aroma:toffee, coffee, chocolate, hops. Palate: medium body, silky feel. Well balanced.
