Bottle. Pours a hazy golden amber with a off-white head. Aroma of pale malts, caramel, fruit and spices. Flavor was sweet and lightly bitter with caramel, cinnamon, fruit and xmas spices with a thin and watery texture. mansquito (6425) - Nueva York, New York, USA - DEC 31, 2012
New Beer Distributors, New York 50cl ($5): Pours a hazy copper color with an off-white head. Aroma is English hops, malt, and spice. Taste is all Christmas spice over a relatively generic body. Nothing special. Meh. LED40 (117) - Aberdeen, SCOTLAND - DEC 25, 2012
Xmas day. Copper in appearance with a thick head. Spice on the nose with cinnamon the most noticable. The taste is actually quite watery, with medium bitterness, caramel sweetness, cinnamon again on the taste and dark fruit. Not too carbonated but pleasant and easy to drink. tfredvik (1941) - Oslo, NORWAY - DEC 23, 2012
Quite light amber clear body. A bit small but long-lived, off-white head that is a frothy to creamy, good lacing. Moderate aroma with pale malts, caramel, fruits (hey, isn’t that banana?), spices and pine needles. I’m not sure about the pine needles, though, it might be from my fingers, since I’m drinking this while decorating the christmas tree. The taste is light to moderate sweet and the finish is very light bitter. Spicy and somewhat herbal flavours with cinnamon up front along with other christmas spices, caramel and again this banana thing. On second thought, let’s merge the two last elements into banana caramel. Light bodied and rather watery texture, moderate carbonation. An easy-to-drink christmas party session beer. abemorsten (3611) - Mosterøy, NORWAY - DEC 19, 2012

500 ml shared bottle at Cardinal. Clear golden with a white big bubbled film. Honey and crystal malts on the nose. Malty sweet with a boiled honey flavor. Light to medium body. Short finish revealing a faint bitterness.

First rating: Medium beige head. Clear amber body with light carbonation.
Spicy cinnamon and lavender aroma with perfumy fruity notes.
Dryish spicy lavender taste with cinnamon and cardamom notes.
Mid-bodied. Slightly hot, prickling mouthfeel. Dryish dried
fruit and paper aftertaste with herbal dusty lavender notes. Not
bad, but a bit too spiced and artificial. (0.5l bottle, Meny Oslo
City.) 6,4,6,2,13 = 3.1
Second rating: Big offwhite head. Clear amber body. Fruity spicy cloves aroma with
herbal sandalwood notes. Sweetish spicy sandalwood taste with
cinnamon and clove notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dryish
wooden resiny fruity aftertaste with cinnamon notes. It’s not bad,
but a bit much spice. (0.5l bottle, from ... I forget where.) 6,4,6,3,12=3.1
Fra flaske på Cardinaltreff des-12: som en golden ale med litt krydder. Kort ettersmak. Et typisk session beer, men allikevel bedre enn standard pøseøl. unstablefable (233) - SCOTLAND - DEC 7, 2012
Pours copper with a white head with small bubbles. Aroma is sweet with some Christmas spices cinnamon and deep malts, taste is similer, grain, surprisingly rich. Nice pint

Pours a nice dark honey colour...aromas are cinnamon and clove, some sweet candy and banana aromas. Sweet flavours that go down smooth. Almost no bitterness detected. Good mouthfeel. Nilz (510) - Glasgow, SCOTLAND - NOV 16, 2012
500ml Bottle pours a yellow-amber with a frothy head. Aroma mainly light hops some sweetness with faint spiciness. Taste a gentle hopness, milder spiciness than I might have counted on.
