Pours a nice dark honey colour...aromas are cinnamon and clove, some sweet candy and banana aromas. Sweet flavours that go down smooth. Almost no bitterness detected. Good mouthfeel.

Pours a golden colour. Taste is spicy and citrusy with Christmas like flavours. Not a bad effort

bnokk (537) - Lee, Massachusetts, USA - JUN 10, 2015
Bottle, 500ml APPEARANCE – medium amber, slightly turbid, perfectly white head. NOSE - slight malt, not a lot of spice. FLAVOR - quite a bit like an English Bitter. NOTES - It’s refreshing to drink a Christmas beer that’s moderately spicy and has a good beer flavor.

* Bottle. Pours cloudy dark orange brown, with a minimal off-white head. * Watery body, very low carbonation, very fine bubbles. * Aroma of dried fruit, spice & toffee. * Taste is caramel sweet, nutmeg & cinnamon. * Palate is light & moist, with some dry pepper traces. * Finish is light malty, refreshing, not drying, slightly sour end. * Strong aroma, light palate, watery body, pleasant taste.

shigadeyo (3761) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - DEC 30, 2014
Cloudy dirty golden color with a minimal offwhite crown. Butter toffee malt and a touch of spice in the aroma. The flavor is much the same with more dry and herbal noted coming through as the beer warms. Medium light body, smooth and soft on the tongue. Decent holiday bitter overall.

500ml bottle from Tesco. Pours clear golden amber, thin, short-lived white head. Aromas of spice, dried fruit. Taste is nutmeg, fairly dominated by the spice. Nutmeg-gy finish. A struggle.
