A golden copper coloured ale, which has a thick and creamy off-white head that laces your glass all the way to the bottom, leaving you wanting more. A marriage of Pilgrim, East Kent Goldings and Cascade hops presents a delicate citrus aroma and a unique spicy floral taste.

500ml bottle. Pours slightly hazy orange copper with a small off white head. Biscuit malt with citrus and peppery spice on the nose. Taste is a nice balance of biscuit and toffee malt and lemon, grapefruit and orange peel bitterness. Hugely drinkable brew !

Cask Pint at Wibbas Down (JDW), Wimbledon, London in May 2010 - Golden-copper in colour. Fruity; citrus grapefruit/orange. Hoppy; spicy (peppery) and floral hops. Malty; toasty malts, buttery caramel, toffee. Nice fruit/hop/malty balance. Slightly bitter hop fruity throughout. Very drinkable. (2010-05)

nice beer with a golden amber color. The foam is low. The aroma of spices and fruits, but the taste is a little disappointed. Spices were, but fruits were replaced by wet bread and even some off-flavor. Still quite watery. Not bad, but I expected something more interesting.

Cask at The Railway, Putney as ’Inveralmond Thrappledouser’. Amber orange, still, translucent, small foamy white head, some thick lacing. Aroma is cheese powder and gummy sweets. Body is smooth with low carbonation. Taste is cheesy hop up front, then some suggestions of passionfruit and lime, bready malts, touches of soap and citrus. Not very bitter but dry into the finish. Definitely a grower not a show-er. Could easily drink a few pints of this as the cheesy first impression dies down quickly.

Aroma hint of spice. Flavour toffee toast . Unusual but nice. Appearance amber. Head laces well on glass. Overall another good one. Will try on its own again.
