A golden copper coloured ale, which has a thick and creamy off-white head that laces your glass all the way to the bottom, leaving you wanting more. A marriage of Pilgrim, East Kent Goldings and Cascade hops presents a delicate citrus aroma and a unique spicy floral taste.

(Cask at Gallows Bird, 20120908) The beer poured deep golden and clear. Its head was small and white. Aroma had goo, hint of green apples, malts and toffee. Palate was medium bodied with low carbonation. Flavours were malts, green apples, toffee and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty and bitter. I know this beer arrived very late for this festival and you can taste that this is not ready yet, unfortunately.

Cask at the Gallows Bird, Espoo, Finland. Clear golden colour with tiny white head. Green apple, yeast, goo and mild diacetyl in aroma. Floral hops, mild bitterness, malt and hint of diacetyl in flavour. This is fresh, maybe too fresh. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Malty with a lingering bitter finish; the most notable and unusual aspect was a creamy, champagne-like moussy palate.

Cask by handpump at State Bar, Glasgow (17 Mar 12) - clear amber ale with a thin white head, nil aroma, caramel, little hint of apple, bit cold, carbonation on the high side

Cask at HWBF. Brown amber with cream head. Nice fruity malt flavour. Caramel. Light citrus. Very nice.

tombyars (1702) - Saltcoats, SCOTLAND - JAN 30, 2012
First tasted this in Gabriels, Paisley in September 1999. Cask, handpump dispense. Clear orange amber in colour with a thick creamy buff head. Short aroma of marmalade and barley sugar. Thin resiny mouthfeel and good lacing. Pale malts gives a fruity base of sweet spangles and lemon and lime. Dusty hops give a long floral resiny note to the long aftertaste. Finish is dry with oak cask notes and citric pith. An ok session bitter.

Cask at The Golf Tavern. Pours a deep golden colour with a fair white head. Aroma of caramel, grassy hops and barley. Similar flavours with yeasty notes. Little foamy mouth-feel and a light caramel linger.

Amber with a thin head. Vague aroma is lightly fruity. Fairly light toast character, but this beer is mainly about the pale malt. A basic, refreshing beer.
