Interesting beer. Sour and bitter up front. Chilli comes through on the lips and carries on migtarting up the mouth after every sip. Chilli is intense enough without being over the top. Pours dark brown with a thin tan head. Aroma is very light on. Taste is a little watery then you’re a gentle chili hit which lasts. Seb24 (6) - AUSTRALIA - AUG 28, 2012 does not count
One of my absolutely favourite flavour combos. A big stout fan and an equally big chilli fan, this beer combines both and is a subtle proponent of the warming effects of both those flavours. Plenty of chocolate malty flavour with a hint of chilli that builds as you drink. If you drink it slowly and allow the temp of it rise as you do, the flavours will intensify. On tap at The Scratch. Thick and very dark black in colour with a spray of coffee coloured foam. Chocolate and chilli in the flavour as you would expect. More chilli than chocolate.
